Description:
Cyclopenthiazide are thiazide diuretics, which work by inhibiting the pumping action of the sodium / potassium that moves sodium and potassium, therefore water from the kidney filtration back into the blood. By doing so increase the manufacture of urine and reduce the water in the body. Excretion of sodium and potassium also increased.

Indications:
- To treat hypertension by reducing blood volume.
- To reduce the edema of congestive heart failure (CHF), premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and kidney and liver disorders.
Dosage:
- 25-100 mg by mouth (orally), 1 times daily.
- Maximum Dose: 200 mg / day
Side Effects:
- Endocrine and metabolic effects (hiperuricemia and can cause gout in some patients, hypochloremic alkalosis, hyponatremia, hypokalemia, hipomagnesemia, hyperglycemia & glikosuria in patients with diabetes mellitus or other vulnerable); Securities GI (GI irritation, N / V, constipation, anorexia, diarrhea), CNS effects (headache, dizziness); Other effects (fotosensitivitas reactions, postural hypotension, impotence, hypersensitivity reactions).

Special Instructions:
